Durim Loshaj Takes Honors at Mercyhurst Student Art Show

Durim Loshaj of Erie, PA, was among nine Mercyhurst University art students to receive special awards during the opening reception for the annual Juried Student Art Show, held Feb. 24-March 4 in the university's Cummings Art Gallery.

Loshaj, a junior majoring in Liberal Arts, Studio Art, entered a piece titled "Euclidean Space," an acrylic on canvas. In all, more than 40 student artists were represented in this year's exhibit, which included ceramics, sculpture, photography, painting and drawing.
