Sarah Blair Takes Honors at Mercyhurst Student Art Show

Sarah Blair of Transfer, PA, was among nine Mercyhurst University art students to receive special awards during the opening reception for the annual Juried Student Art Show, held Feb. 24-March 4 in the university's Cummings Art Gallery.

Blair, a senior majoring in Art Therapy, entered a piece titled "Dress Patterns," an acrylic paint on canvas. In all, more than 40 student artists were represented in this year's exhibit, which included ceramics, sculpture, photography, painting and drawing.
